Friendship Week

A huge well done to all of the classes for their participation in a successful friendship week (Jan 23rd-27th). The children loved learning about and celebrating friendships. They also very much enjoyed opportunities to make new friends from different class groups.

The school was a hive of activity with each classroom celebrating friendship week in their own way. The senior classroom learned about the qualities of a good friend and wrote friendship recipes, along with some lessons on anti-bullying. The middle classroom created beautiful balloons for their secret friends. The infant classroom read the story "Have you filled a bucket today?" and the children recieved 'caught you being kind' bracelets during the week. Also, the middle and senior classrooms joined together on different occasions to buddy read and play board games. Finally, thank you to 6th class who led fun and exciting playground games with the infant classes.
